Is EdgeApply really free?
Yes — EdgeApply has a free tier with no account required. You get 5 free uses per day at no cost. For higher limits, Word document downloads, and Recruiter Outreach, upgrade to Pro for USD $19/month with a 3-day free trial.
Is my resume data stored or shared?
No. Your resume text is sent to the AI to generate your result and is not stored on our servers. We don't sell, share, or retain your personal data. You can read our full

Will it make things up or lie on my resume?
No. EdgeApply is designed to enhance and reframe your real experience — not fabricate skills or jobs you don't have. It rewrites your existing content using language that matches the job description, and strengthens bullet points based on what you've already described.
What is ATS and why does it matter?
ATS stands for Applicant Tracking System — software that most large employers use to automatically filter resumes before a human sees them. EdgeApply optimises your resume to pass ATS filters by matching the right keywords and formatting.

What is ATS Score Check?
ATS Score Check analyses your resume against a specific job description and gives you an instant compatibility score — broken down by keyword match, format, and experience alignment. It also gives you specific recommendations to improve your score. It's free to use and takes under 30 seconds.
What tools are included in the free plan?
The free plan includes Resume Tailor, Cover Letter, Interview Prep, ATS Score Check, Career Assessment, and LinkedIn Profile Writer — all free, up to 5 uses per day. Recruiter Outreach is a Pro feature.
What is Pro?
Pro is a paid plan at USD $19/month with a 3-day free trial. It includes higher daily limits, Word document downloads, and Recruiter Outreach — LinkedIn messages and cold recruiter emails tailored to your resume and target role.
What file formats can I download?
All users can download as PDF. Pro users can also download as Word (.docx) — useful if you want to make final edits before submitting.
How many times can I use EdgeApply?
You can use EdgeApply 5 times per day on the free plan. This resets at midnight. Pro users get 50 uses per day.
Do I need to create an account?
No. EdgeApply requires no account, no sign-up, and no email address to use. Just paste your resume and job description and go.
Can I use EdgeApply for any industry or role?
Yes. EdgeApply works for any industry, any experience level, and any role — from graduate applications to senior executive positions, across every sector.
How is EdgeApply different from other resume tools?
Most resume tools give you templates or generic suggestions. EdgeApply analyses the specific job description you're applying to and rewrites your resume to match that exact role — using the employer's own language. It's tailoring, not templating.
What is the Career Assessment?
The Career Assessment is an honest AI analysis of your career based on your resume and target role. It gives you a career level assessment, role fit score, genuine strengths, development gaps, salary range estimate, similar roles you'd be suited for, and a personalised upskilling plan. It's designed to give you real insight — not generic encouragement.
How accurate is the salary range estimate in the Career Assessment?
The salary estimate is based on the role, your experience level, and general market data. It's intended as a directional guide to help you understand your market value, not a precise figure. Salaries vary significantly by location, industry, company size, and negotiation. Use it as a starting point for your own research.
Are the upskilling recommendations personalised to me?
Yes. The upskilling recommendations are generated specifically from your resume and your target role — not generic advice. EdgeApply identifies the gap between your current skills and what the target role requires, then recommends the specific skills most likely to make you more competitive for that role.
What is the LinkedIn Profile Writer and how does it work?
The LinkedIn Profile Writer generates a recruiter-optimised LinkedIn headline, About section, and skills list from your resume and target role. You don't need to provide your LinkedIn profile — we generate everything from your existing resume. Just copy the output and paste it directly into your LinkedIn profile.
Do I need to give EdgeApply access to my LinkedIn account?
No. EdgeApply does not connect to LinkedIn in any way. We generate LinkedIn-optimised content from your resume, and you copy and paste it into your profile manually. No login, no permissions, no LinkedIn access required.
How does the interview question predictor work?
The interview predictor analyses your resume and the specific job description to identify the competencies, skills, and experience gaps the employer is most likely to probe. It then generates the 7 most likely interview questions for that role, along with tips on how to answer each one effectively.
Does the Pro trial require a credit card?
Yes — Stripe requires a card to start the trial. You won't be charged anything for 3 days. If you cancel before day 4, you pay nothing.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your card is charged USD $19 and your Pro access continues for the next month. You'll receive an email from Stripe before any charge.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
From your account page — one click, no forms, no emails required. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
If you were charged in error or experienced a technical failure, contact us at
support@edgeapply.com within 7 days and we'll review it. We don't offer refunds for change of mind after the trial ends.
